Dream Writing Contest 2025
A Chance for Young Writers to Share Their Hopes, Imaginations, and Futures
What does it mean to dream? To wish? To hope? To imagine a better world or become someone who makes it happen?
At Children Pay Children, we believe that children’s voices are powerful, creative, and full of heart.
This competition invites children from all over the world to turn their dreams into stories—whether it’s a dream for the future, a fantasy adventure, or a vision of a better world. We want to hear the voices of the dreamers, the changemakers, the quiet thinkers, and the bold storytellers.
Who Can Join?
The competition is open to children under 18.
No prior writing experience is needed—just your imagination and your dream.
Two Creative Categories to Write
You can choose from two story formats:
- Picture Book: Simple text with a clear structure, written for younger readers. Perfect for stories with imagination, heart, and strong visuals.
- Short Novel: Longer stories with developed characters, plots, and settings—ideal for writers ready to explore deeper themes and big ideas.
No prior writing experience is needed—just your imagination and your dream.
Prizes & Publication
One story from each category will be transformed into a fully illustrated published book, professionally designed and printed—turning a child’s dream into a book they can hold in their hands.
Other Selected Stories: Will be published online on our official Children Pay Children platform, where readers everywhere can enjoy them.
Entry Fee (Donation)
To support the cost of illustration, editing, and publication, there is a $40 donation required to enter the competition.
This fee helps us continue creating meaningful publishing opportunities for young writers around the world.
