Description
Welcome to the book about chess, competition, and more importantly about love and the wellbeing of our planet’s oceans.
The renowned Pavilion Knight chess club from Beijing, China organized a summer camp to bring some of their top young prospects to participate in the Open International D’échecs Marina Viva in Purtichju, France in the summer of 2023. (06/30/2023-07/07/2023)
The organizers from Pavilion Knight didn’t want to fly thousands of miles simply for chess. They wanted to make this camp extra meaningful and educational for their players, which was during times the players weren’t training or competing in chess, they would be educated by marine experts on preserving our oceans and protecting the marine ecosystem. This included lectures, spreading awareness about reuse and recycling, as well as picking up trash along the beach.
This is a book put together by the chess players talking about chess and offering tips about Marine protection and recycling.
So, whether you are looking to get into chess, or are interested in saving our oceans, this should be a book worth reading!
