First of all, Charity comes in different forms. It could be in the form of a donation or an act out of one’s kindness. I don’t think it is a requirement for every person to become a philanthropist since people live different lives under different circumstances. Some people live such complex lives that they are barely making ends meet which makes them unable to assist others. (Yes, I do believe one needs to look after himself before helping others)
In terms of education, the acts of kindness play an absolutely vital role. We know our world is a money-driven one, where people would exchange their money for different goods and services. A typical businessman would simply mark up the products he bought to make a profit, which doesn’t really make the world a better place, whereas a social worker offering help to the elder in exchange for some wages might be a lot more meaningful. We strongly support the idea of people offering help and services to those in need, for profit or not. Not only would it make the world a better place, but it could also be a lucrative business for oneself.
